We took Piper to Coolidge Park and let her play in the fountain. I thought you all would enjoy these pictures!

Hi all! Well, we had a very eventful couple of weeks preparing for Piper's 3rd birthday. Her birthday fell on a thursday so kyle and i took her to a real bakery for the first time and let her pick out a few cupcakes to take with us to chuck e cheese. She chose three different kinds of cupcakes and I think she would have eaten them all if we had let her. We took her to chuck e cheese for lunch that day and she really played hard. We ate pizza and played games and came home with a ton of useless stuff that her tickets bought her. Later that night my mom took us to dinner at Piper's fav restaurant.....kan pai. It's a japanese steak house where they cook on the table. She had a wonderful day all together. Her birthday party was sunday. We had it at a local park where we could rent a pavillion. The weather was great, a little warm, but still overall great. Everyone that we invited was bale to join us and Piper had so much fun. There were about 25 people there and about ten of them were playmates for Piper. We let the kids play and enjoyed pizza. Then we had a sundae bar and all the kids got to make their own ice cream sundae's. Then we sang happy birthday and ate the dora the explorer cake. After that Piper opened her gifts and now I must say we are over run with dora gear and lots of other good stuff. To end the festivities we had a pinata. All the kids got a turn and a bag to retrieve their loot as it poured out of the over stuffed dora pinata. She still sings happy birthday to herself every night and has already asked when her birthday is again! I guess that means we did good but, i will say I am glad that it's only once a year! I can't believe how time flies and how it just seemed like yesterday that she was Harper's size!

Hi all! Well, I hope you all had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend! Ours was pretty uneventful and in case you were wondering that's good! We had some friends over to grill out for dinner and that's pretty much it. Piper did have our guests lizard hunting in the back yard for hours and then talked them into painting water colors with her on the back porch! We have been making plans for Piper's big birthday party coming up on the 7th. Every night she asks if her birthday party is tomorrow. And today when I asked her how old she will be on her birthday she informed me that she was going to be six!!! Wow and when I told her she was only going to be three she argued with me because she wants to be able to ride the school bus to school she said. Ok someone please tell me how my child knows you have to be six to ride a school bus especially since she has never even spent one day in day care or any kind of school like structured program. Where does she come up with this stuff?? Oh well. Hope everyone is doing well and until next time love and kisses!

Door jam

Hi all! We had Harper back to the dr office a couple of days ago for a cold. Well, it turned out not to be a cold at all just a measley little viral infection (no wonder piper and i and kyle are also not feeling the greatest). He is almost all the way better already, thank heavens and we all are actually feeling much better. Harper is getting so big! In only 2 weeks he has almost gained a whole pound. He now weighs 14lbs and 8oz! As most of you know we bought our first home last august but, Kyle got to christin it last week. It was so cute I wish I had thought of it. He grabbed Piper and took her to the doorway entering our kitchen and marked her height on the door jam. Something that my parents always did with me but, I just never thought of it I guess. I am so excited to watch our children grow on the door jam of our home! Well, until next time love and kisses to all!

update on Piper and Harper

Hello all this is Alisha. I hope you all have been great! We had a wonderful Mother's Day weekend! Kyle and I got a date night and we had a great brunch with Bob and Liz and an awesome dinner with my dad and step mom. We took Harper to the dr last week and the nurse couldn't believe he was the same kid. He was 13lbs and 11oz and has already grown 2 full inches in length!!! Wow they grow up soooo fast!! We are really looking forward to vacation coming up next month and are trying to get Piper enrolled in some swim lessons before we go! I can't believe she will be 3 in less than a month! I am going to try to post some new pics on here for all of you in the next couple of days if I can figure out how. Anyhow, until next time love and kisses to all!!
